In these classes students will learn some listening strategies, grammar, pronunciation, writing, reading, vocabulary, and conversation, while also learning basic survival skills for living in the United States. For example, how to order in a restaurant, tipping/gratuities, how to read a bus schedule, telephone conversation tips, and many more important activities which improve practice in ALL areas of English skills. Field trips around town and the university campus are promoted during or outside of class .
